The brand new Arabic entertainment channel OSN YAHALA! HD will be the exclusive home for the first ever Gulf musical comedy series Hindistani. The OSN original production stars comedy superstar Basheer AlGhnaim and renowned actress/dancer Malayeen and premieres Monday, 10th October at 20:00 KSA.
Hindistani will join a line-up of premium programming never seen before on TV when OSN YAHALA! HD launches in October. This one of a kind series is a completely new concept to the region and will delight viewers with its opulent settings, engaging story lines, a prominent Gulf cast, brilliant choreography and sensational musical numbers.
The series follows Saeedan (Basheer AlGhnaim), a herbs and textile trader who is deeply in love with a beautiful girl called Hind. Saeedan often escapes his mundane lifestyle into the realms of fantasy through his dreams that take him to India, where most of the action in the series takes place.
The sing-along series that is guaranteed to be a smash hit with OSN viewers showcases a selection of catchy musical numbers with Arabic lyrics set against Indian music. The mix of Arabic romance and passion comes to life in the majestic Indian cities of Nawalgarh, Jaipur, Jaiselmer and Mumbai and was shot in glorious high definition. It will be subtitled in English.
