JABRA HALO2 COMBINES WIRED AND WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY FOR ULTIMATE SMARTPHONE AND MULTIMEDIA COMPANION

Cut the wires or remain plugged in to all of your favorite devices – the choice is yours with the new Jabra HALO2.  This Bluetooth® stereo headset is the ultimate smart phone or Mp3 player companion to make calls and your favorite music sound even better.  Launching today, the HALO2 is equipped with a detachable cord for users who prefer a direct connection to their music player and is also capable of connecting wirelessly to take calls on multiple smart phones or Bluetooth-enabled devices.  A recent study* commissioned by Jabra shows an increase in the use of multiple devices for music, calls and other multimedia with 89% of respondents stating that they regularly use more than one device, indicating a growing need for a headset that is the perfect match for them all.

Ahmed Elkalliny, Area Director, Middle East and Africa, Mobile Division said, "After receiving a tremendous response to the launch of HALO in the Middle East, Jabra is now introducing its advanced predecessor, which is set to appeal yet more to consumers in the Middle East." Elkalliny added, "The new HALO is packed with the most innovative and desirable features such as touch screen controls and Virtual Surround Sound, which are sure to both excite and impress music lovers."

Building off the success of the popular Jabra HALO, the Jabra HALO2 boasts advanced Multipoint technology, allowing for simple pairing for up to two Bluetooth®-enabled devices at a time.  The headset includes new features like Virtual Surround Sound and Power Bass, providing an enhanced listening experience - music and calls never sounded so good!  The Jabra HALO2 allows users to make and answer phone calls wirelessly when paired to a mobile device, further combining music and communication which have becoming increasingly linked by smart phones with music-playing abilities.

The Jabra HALO2 has a touch sensor on the side of the headset that lets users adjust volume with the swipe of a finger and the ability to skip tracks, play, and pause songs without ever having to touch the phone or Mp3 player.  Virtual Surround Sound produces a listening experience that mimics a multiple-speaker-sound that seems to come from various directions and Power Bass adds enhanced audio.

The ear pieces of the new headset are cushioned with velvet to provide maximum comfort while wearing the HALO2 and a new metallic color-style makes the product an attractive headset to wear on-the-go.  Additionally, users will be able to upgrade the stereo headset with updates from Jabra as they become available via the USB plug.
